Kintner extends lead in women's Pro GRT with Winter Park win; Smith moves into fifth in men's Winter Park, Colo. — USA Cycling continued its 2010 Pro Mountain Bike Gravity Tour (Pro GRT) Friday-Sunday (July 29-Aug. 1) with the Crankworx Colorado event at Trestle Bike Park, the penultimate race in the 2010 series. Waylon Smith (Valencia, Calif./Santa Clarita Velo) won the men’s pro race with a time of 6:30.0, a full six seconds ahead of Jason Memmalaar (Chester, N.Y.). Logan Bingelli (St. George, Utah) was 10 seconds off the pace and earned the final podium position. Complete results from the Crankworx Colorado event are available on USA Cycling’s Website. In the Pro GRT men’s overall standings, Bryn Atkinson (AUS/Transition Racing) remains in the lead with 205 points after skipping the Winter Park event. Atkinson leads Andrew Neethling (RSA/Trek World Racing) by 75 points, and has an 85-point cushion over Justin Leov (NZL/Trek World Racing). Bingelli stands fourth, nine points behind Leov at 111. Smith’s win moved him into a tie for fifth place with Kieran Bennett (NZL) with 90 points. In the women’s standings, Kintner leads with 275 points, 95 ahead of Buhl and 110 ahead of Tracy Moseley (GBR/Trek World Racing). Updated Pro GRT standings are as follows:
