Cycle Obsession MTB Park Tauranga finally managed to hold their Race Day with great weather and perfect track conditions.
The new “Steepline” - “ Timberyard” and “Triple Treat Jump” race lines proved a big hit amongst the 64 competitors.
The bottom final chute and finish jump arena was still tacky of which took the shine off an otherwise perfect track design.
This problem area will be fully rebuilt and ready to host the 1st round of the AKDH North Island Series.   

Daniel Heads riding his new Koops Cycles 2011 Scott DH Bike took out the overall for the day followed closely by Jake Robinson.
Kirk Fisher also put a great effort in to finish 3rd Overall.
